#Helicopter services Vijayawada to RJY

Helicopter services are likely to be available from Gannavaram Airport in Vijayawada to Rajahmundry, the venue for Godavari Maha Pushkarams, once Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited (PHHL) gives its consent to Airport Authority of India (AAI) officials at Gannavaram Airport.

On Monday, PHHL had submitted an expression of interest to operate helicopter services from Vijayawada to Rajahmundry and back for the duration of Godavari Pushkarams. The decision, it is learnt, was taken in view of the abnormal rush for both bus and train services. If helicopter services are launched, it could prove convenient to those coming from other countries to reach Rajahmundry without much trouble.
